Ways to support

Volunteer

Volunteering with Childrenjpg

We are helping to improve the lives of those in our community facing hunger, eviction, job loss, and more. Every time you volunteer with us, you leave knowing you’ve helped neighbors in need.

Our organization is dependent on Volunteers for day-to-day operations.  Some volunteers come once a week, once a month, or once a quarter. A typical volunteer shift is two to four hours.  Volunteers help by sorting donations, stocking shelves, organizing in the thrift store and assisting clients as needed.  Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.  The minimum age of a volunteer is 10 years old.

Fundraise

Your fundraising goes directly to the community. Many companies host fundraising events where the proceeds go directly to our charity. Examples of Fundraising events in the past include

Host a baby shower to collect baby items
Work Groups: General cleaning and yard work, painting, plant flowers

Purchasing and or donation of toys to assist with Holiday Programs

Receiving Donations at Clothing Drive

We assist with the most essential needs for homeless individuals: food and shelter. Additionally, we partner with local organizations to coordinate clothing assistance for our clients. We also work to provide life-transforming programs that will help people gain the skills they need to create a better life for themselves and their loved ones. We rely on support from everyday people like you—and your generosity makes a huge impact!
